Rat Removal
Charleston boasts a huge population of rats. Both roof rats and Norway rats are present. Both of these species of rats are considered “commensal” or in other worlds table sharing rodents. Rats hang around humans for all of the scraps and waste that we leave behind. In a lot of situations a little TLC of the infected area can go a long way. Rats will only be present when there is a good food source near by. Both roof and Norway rats produce over 4 litters of young a year turning a few rats in a house into an epidemic. They have their young primarily in the spring and fall, but with Charleston’s temperate climate babies can be found year round.
